I just got GTA V on my Predator Helios 300 PH317-53 and how ever i put the settings I keep getting 40fps as if its capped, i am getting capped on every game idk why to either 40 or 60fps even tho ive got a 144hzand hardware to hit it.

Make sure all your drivers are up to date and play around with the game settings, I know that the fps can take a big hit when MSAA is on in GTA V. Also by default your display may be set to 60Hz which means when Vsync is on the games fps is capped at the refresh rate, you can change your refresh rate in the NVIDIA control panel, (according to what I can find you may have an Nvidia GPU like a GTX 1660 or 1660 ti or something).

got it, whisper mode was set to 60/40/30fps lol
