ASUS Flashback doesn't want to do it's thing.

Whenever I try to fix my bricked BIOS, the "BIOS" button that's supposed to flash for like 3 mins, goes solid in 5 seconds... I'm 99% sure that I'm doing everything right, what could be the reason for It not to work? (MB: ASUS HERO XI)

What did you do to try fix it? You need to do more than just pressing the button.

I know, I formated a 4Gb USB to FAT32, put a cap file on it, used a renamer, and it still doesn't work...

You have to have USB stick with the format FAT32. You can google how to change to that.

In your usb stick you have to have the Bios and it has to be renamed correctly. To do that some bios versions from Asus support website comes with bios renamer what is used to rename the bios file correctly, just click the bios renamer. Or you could rename it by yourself by reading your manual. 

 

Stick the usb stick to flash port and press the button until it flashes three times

I honestly don't remember what I did to fix this issue, but I had it on my board before. It was something with the cab file and the size of the USB stick I was using. An older one worked where a new one didn't.

 

I do remember it being a pain in the ass though.

@JelloBeatRemame BIOS.cap file to M11H.cap and then it works. Should work in either NTFS or FAT32.
