I was looking for the Classifieds rules when this caught my eye.

 

4.2 Advertising
Any sort of advertisement on Linus Tech Tips that has little or no relation to Linus Media Group, or is not affiliated with Linus Media Group in any way will be considered spam and removed from the boards. This also pertains to signatures and/or profile information.
 
In addition to advertising, you may not sell any item via the forums or advertise links to third party sites (EBay, Kijiji, etc.) where you have sales posted.

 

Also, can you only sell tech-related stuff? Like let's say I have an expensive item that has little to do with the tech that is mentioned on this forum, could I sell it?

I believe so. I read that you could sell "appropriate" items so no dildos, but say like a chair or desk.

Maybe with a dildo inside the lining of the chair >_>

For future reference, since no one browsing the public forum can do anything about it except mods, you might as well just message us directly for things like this

that applies to the forums, not classifieds - there is still no selling permitted on the boards, classifieds its obviously fine

 

that is why there is a seperate part of the CoC for classifieds

Btw OP, there's section where CoC is open for commenting. That section is quite well monitored. Could you use it in future? It seems stupid to have separed thread to comment on CoC when you can comment it straight.
