some might argue that this should have been the price for a 2060

evga also has the 1660super for 210 after rebate

amd's taking too long with the 5600xt

Seems nvidia and intel can just drop prices after competition comes in grrrr...what happens with big navi will be interesting, though i'm expecting it to be 800usd+

Just recently 5700xts were available at that price.  I am mildly offended.  Shows mostly IMHO how artificial the GPU market is and that duopolys aren’t actual competition.  The Old antitrust laws were the right way to do things.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

ya it's not really a "deal", price to performance is right on par with a 1660 super, and a 2060 is still slower than a 5700, but they were charging premiums on a mid range gpu,

That's how it works. When you're first the next gen, you have no real competition and you can claim you support all the fancy features of the future. And when the competition catches up, you go with what they're doing. Both sides have done this.
