Monitor Beeps when off

Hello. Whenever I turn off my computer, and subsequently my monitor, after a few seconds my monitor will begin to beep. It’s a constant noice that goes high pitch, low pitch, high pitch, low pitch and so on. I can tell it’s the monitor as when I place my ear against the back it becomes significantly louder. Just wondering if there are any problems, thanks for any help!

 

Edit: Also when I turn it on It goes really high pitched and get a little louder.

Go into your OSD and there might be a setting about monitor sounds. You can probably turn it off any see if that fixes it.

It could also be coil whine, although its kind of strange it changes pitch, that usually happens if there is something like an LED flashing changing the load which normally only happens if the monitor is still turned on in power saving mode.
