NUCs have SODIMM memory, M.2 SSD's and possibly 2.5" drive capability. I would hardly call that upgradable.

Plus they run laptop class CPU's, not desktop class CPU's...

 

That automatically makes me weary of the rest of the article.. but this is an obvious step from AMD which I applaud.
