So im wondering if anyone can give me the information about the  3-Way AMD CrossFire Technology? I was looking through the specs of my MOBO to look for compatibility etc and saw that above SLI which i was also looking for. So yeah, what im wondering is what is this crossfire?

Both can/could do 2, 3 or 4.

Both are basically dead nowadays.

Crossfire has been phased out by AMD, the best card you can still Crossfire with is the Vega 64 and crossfiring it will likely still give worse performance than just using a single 2080 Super ~ 2080 Ti.

SLI is still supported by nVidia but only on the 2070 Super and up (or 1070 and up from older gen). It's better but not a whole lot better as more and more developers are no longer supporting it.

Ah i see so its more worthwhile to just pick up a single GPU for the price of the two for SLI is the consensus. Well good to know. Well my reasoning behind why is because i was looking at getting 1660 super and it was just a thought of if it would be worth to get two not one, but thanks ?

The GTX 1660 Super doesn't support SLI to begin with so the answer is pretty straightforwards, see what card you can buy with the price combined of two and go for that [:

Oh right okay well damn. I dont even know how i didnt realise the 1660S wasnt supporter. Oops, well what ill probably do is, get the 1660 super now. Then upgrade later on down the line and gift my brother the 1660 super because im pretty sure he doesnt even have a Gpu, and maybe some ram too. Considering his ram is not even upto 1000mhz i think ?
