NEW PC IN 2020

Hey Peeps,

So of course income tax is coming up soon and well its time to build a new pc. Right now my 4790K just isn't cutting it =). Here is what I am thinking.trying to stay around 2K ~ 2.3K. The case will be XPG Invader cuz it just looks amazing to me(Linus DO A REVIEW OF IT lol) Feel free to rate or suggest anything on the list below. Either where I should save on some money or spend a little more on. OH and I will save for a 1440p with high refresh rate.

Case = (bought already) - XPG Invader - 89$

Just don't activate Win10 and you won't have to pay the $130. If you plan on dropping that much on a PC then you'll need some proper peripherals to go with it so I say you take the $130 you'll save by not buying an activation key and dropping it on a legit peripheral setup. You also didn't mention a headset or speakers, so make sure you have enough if you want to grab some

I could potently do both there is more wiggly room with what I have there. So what would you think for Peripherals and headset? speakers are meh as I will be mostly using the headphones

Personal preference, but go with reputable stuff. Corsair, HyperX, Logitech, Razer, etc. I personally have a Logitech G703 mouse ($70), Ducky One2 Keyboard ($130), and HyperX Cloud Alpha headset ($100).

Yes post a PC Part Picker link, it's a lot easier on the eyes.

I think he's telling you to use that site so that you make sure everything is compatible. The worst thing is to get all your components and realize NONE of them work together. You can do this without PC Part picker, but PC Part picker just makes it easier

It's also 10x easier to look at, and to modify his build instead of redoing it all myself. It's a nice middleman for sharing builds easily.

PSU = GAMEMAX RGB850 or G skill G.Skill GP-GD750A-CWV1 Ripjaws PS750G 750W - $120

You'll want to get a better PSU. Don't waste your time with RGB in a PSU, you'll never see it anyway.

-You'd probably be better off with a Scythe FUMA 2 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/YsHRsY/scythe-fuma-2-5117-cfm-cpu-cooler-scfm-2000

-650W probably a better idea in case overclocks

-You can get Windows on ebay for $4-5

Good suggestions. I like the noctua better as it's less bulky. 550w are enough if you don't go sli. Cpu uses 150w, gpu 250w and the rest another 50w. That's 450w under full load with overclock.

Agree with the windows bit.
