set up a router as wireless access card

pretty much title. I have a buffalo wzr-600dhp router how do I set it up as a driverless wireless access for a PC?

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

Wireless access for a PC? As in, use the router as a Wifi Receiver and pass that signal through to its ethernet ports and plug the PC in via ethernet?

 

Or as a Wifi access point?

In theory, yes. You could flash DD-WRT onto it and set it to wireless client mode.

My main PC (Hybrid Windows 10/Arch Linux):

OS: Arch Linux w/ XFCE DE (VFIO-Patched Kernel) as host OS, windows 10 as guest

CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X w/PBO on (6c 12t for host, 6c 12t for guest)

Gotcha. I... have never done that, only the second. lol. But it should be possible, just may not be possible with the stock firmware. If there is a DDWRT version for your router, I almost guarantee it would have the ability to do this.
