I thought that too.  I mostly learned I’m horrifically out of date and some of the stuff I thought I knew was wrong.  Still it’s not totally useless though.  I say go for it.  The worst that can happen is other people tell you when you screw up.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
