Welp, Ma CPU Was Dropped

Go to solution Solved by Lurick,

You dropped it inside the clamshell that houses the CPU?

It's fine. Unless you stomped on it and bent the pins, you're good.

I know i might be worried too much about this but it ma first cpu i ever bought.

Ao right i got my amd ryzen 5 today and opened the box, got the cpu which was still inside the plastic covering and i accidently dropped it about less than a cm.

Will ma cpu be fine?

I have literally drop kicked an Athlon 64 3000+ and it worked fine after bending the pins back. I don't recommend punting your CPU, but a 1cm drop is not going to hurt yours.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
