Altering GPU's BIOS

Quick question: Is there a way to alter GPU BIOS so it reports a different name to the hardware checking apps (Like GPU-z)?

 

For example 1080 to be reported as 2080?

Seems like a lot of work for a prank. Any way to just easily edit hardware ID, so it shows different name?
