RTX 2080 Ti only at %20 while playing Rdr2

RAM might be limiting your CPU which is bottlenecking your GPU. RYZEN is very heavy on RAM percentage

I was thinking It might be the ram too. I have 16g but it is only 2666mhz

Just task manager

If you click on the headers of the graphs in the GPU section, switch to another one like Graphics_1 or something

For some reason some games don't trigger the "3D" graph.

I only can see a gpu 0. Also this never happens in other games.

You're welcome! It's weird that Task Manager doesn't make this more obvious.

before I go do you think a ram upgrade would make a big difference for me?

While AMD recommends using DDR4-2933 with the Ryzen 2700X (https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-7-2700x), I don't think it's worthwhile unless you can pawn off the RAM you have for a faster kit.

Capacity isn't a problem though.

I don't think RAM speeds are that important tbh, I switched from 8GB 3000 to 16GB 3200... And I'm not really seeing any differences (tested with same CPU)

But I'm still curious and will try to OC to 3600 soon... Still I see lots of people with stock RAM speeds,  doesn't seem to be *that*  big of an issue.
