Even TESO is just WoW with a skyrim UI.

Unfortunately, the least shit MMO I can think of right now is The Secret World. Also in ESO beta. Not amused by it.

Well that depends on what you want? Rust is fun. There are a few Gary's Mod "MMOs" that are fun. The new FF is good.

To be honest there really aren't a lot of good MMO's out, and this is coming from someone who has played most of them that have been out since 2000.

If you want raids and ESO had raids then I would recommend ESO but from what I read there isn't going to be any.  I just finished up with the beta from that game and it was a really good experience.  Thing is will it just be another Tera?  I don't think it can only be just that as it will have better questing but for me it is an incomplete game without raiding especially when they are going to charge $15 per month for it.

Hmmm I guess I would recommend you play SWTOR free to play just for the one player story line if that is something you will like.  My brother is a big Star Wars fan and basically says any Star Wars fan should play it just for the one player story.

As for other games out there or coming out well I anxiously await the new Everquest Next which will be free to play but not sure when that will be available to us.

EQ2 = no ... extremely ugly to look at making it impossible for me to stomach playing

LOTR = no ... just never felt right for me but I will say with the new movies coming out there may be quite a few new people going to that game just to check it out and it may be a better experience with a greater population base.  I honestly don't know but I do know that every time I played the game I was like why play this when I can play WOW.

Tera has some awesome graphics and combat but content is lacking.  If you are looking for something that will be similar to ESO in terms of combat this game can get you prepared for ESO.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is doing well enough. I've played it since the (re)launch last year and it's the first MMO to make me completely forget about WoW. Lots of polish but do not except anything different gameplay-wise from other WoW clones. Its still the standard hotbar and global cooldown MMO with focus on end-game and gearing up through different tiers of content.
