why is it horrid? i dont really understand why people hate it so much

It looks reeeeeally damn ugly compared to the competition IMO, and you were asking about people's opinions on aesthetics.

Doesn’t look like anything that should be in a pc or related to it.

Another reason to wc is it to be visually pleasing. Or you can just get one from Ali express if that’s the case.

Some people like it though, like many ugly products. Like an msi gpu.

i like it because it has a simple and clean asthetic. i dont really have a need to see the water inside i just want some leds. Though honestly if i could get a monoblock that would be awesome

Plenty of blocks offer that. You basically picked one that did show fluid and one that didn’t and have completely different design characteristics.

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

Thats quite nice though i would have to paint it black to sort of fit.

You can always get the silver and tarnish it . . .

Kuplex makes a few different types.  Mine (silver edition) looks somewhat like a giant metal spider in the middle of my mobo

Watercool heatkiller IV? Def not TT for watercooling at least

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Damn that Corsair thing is ugly. It looks like someone making finger glasses on themselves.

I wouldnt buy anything from thermal take.

Ive got a heatkiller iv myself. I dont think they do a rbg version, but i guess you could drill some holes and stick some leds in.

Had a Alphacool eisblock that you can get a rbguv ring for.

Depending on your budget barrow or bykski make some that look like eks.
