Xmp instant crash

Hello i have a problem when i activate the xmp profile i get instant crashes when I start the windows. The memory sticks r 2x8 viper patriot 3600mhz 17c but they run at 2100 or wo and when i activate xmp in crashes all the time multiple reasons on blue screen. Mobo is x570 elite last bios and cpu 3800x

Make sure your board also has the most up to date BIOS (can try this before messing with settings manually)

It has the latest bios, and all i do is activate xmp profile in the easy mode in bios it sets the voltage at 1.35 and the speed at 3600 c17 as they should be but it instant crashes After. They r in the correct slots 2 and 4

For someone else I installed this motherboard and a TridentZ 3600Mhz. What I had to do is simply turn on the XMP setting, let it reboot, NOT TOUCH IT AT THIS POINT, since it wants to test out the RAM so it reboots a couple time and then it just worked.

That was 3600Mhz CL16, but I can't imagine that makes a large difference..

 

Did you try applying the XMP like I said above?

Yes im doing the exact same thing. Enter bios and only activate the preset xmp profile. I f10 but when it goes to windows it directly blue screen

Try this, load XMP then change you tCL to 16 and Enable Gear Down Mode. 

 

Also can you provide a link to the exact kit you have please.

16 19 19 19 39

Gear down helps stabilize RAM OC's on ryzen this is greatly needed and is only enabled by default when the CL is a even number timing.

If that still won't boot try increasing dram voltage to 1.375v and take SOC voltage to 1.1v

Try taking it up to 18 20 20 20 40 60 using the voltages i gave you with gear down enabled.

If that doesn't work remove one stick and try one at a time.

With only one stick at a time with normal xmp profile its kmode exception not handled or just black screen

put the memory back to 2133Mhz and run memtest

run with as close to 100% memory usage and coverage of 400% is reached.  Lets see if it come back with any errors. 

 

Im starting to lean towards a defective CPU IMC. I had that with a 2700x had to rma to AMD.

Its runing at 90% rn and i have closed xmp and set the multiplier at 3200 and jr dkes t seem to crash and 0 errors for now

Iv put it back to 2100 trying to so a 3dmark run and it shuts down . I dont know what to think anymore im getting really frustrated

Stress test cpu with cpuid no crash stress the gpu with 3dmark no crash stress memory with this memtest nothing, all that with mem at the base 2100. Once i activate xmp i dont even see the windows
