Putting in a 1tb 2.5" sata ssd into a laptop

sleepy69c

I am running a dell g3 15 laptop with a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive. I want to add a PNY CS900 - Solid state drive - 1 TB - internal - 2.5-inch - SATA 6Gb/s as well for more storage. Is there anything i need to do after i add that new 2.5 drive into the laptop?

I do that under disk manager and just make sure it is formatted under "ntfs"?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge
