Back when it was ryzen 2000 series I could see the argument for going Intel for 1080p gaming but with ryzen 3000 series I see no reason to get Intel unless it is the 9900k. The 9600k is just terrible value and has issues in games that don't play nice with cpus that don't have hyperthreading. The r5 3600 is simply a better CPU in every area.

Do you guys recommend i get a better motherboard with wifi built in? or buy a separate antenna

It depends on what connection speed you want,built-in Wi-Fi is good for 100 Mbps

Good choice. I would agree that Zen 2 has effectively knocked the i5 out of the running.

There are really only 2 Intel CPUs worth considering, and really they need to come down further in price to beat out their Zen 2 competitors.
