Making a "Multiple HDD" External Hard Drive

If i were to get a Sata Expansion card shorturl.at/eflPY, would i be able to configure 3 leftover 2.5" HDD to run raid JBOD

i just want to increase my laptop capacity putting photos, music, games in

 

Follow up question 

how much voltage would i need to run it.
