Sound only coming from one speaker

So for a while now, every time plug and unplug my headphones from my computer the sound then only comes out of the Left channel. I then have to do some combination of unplugging, disabling, and turning off my speakers to get them to work properly again. This has only started since I got a 2080ti so I would assume it has something to do with that. I've looked online for a while and no one else seems to have the same problem, and windows troubleshooter hasn't some up with anything. I have not tried reinstalling Nvidia drivers yet.
