Here is the padcaster for iPad mini and it can be very useful if you are in video production because it can save your time and you don't have to compromise on your video quality but if remember it will not be able to fully compete with your DSLRs

i really don't see the point in this. if you could afford an ipad i am sure you could afford a decent camera.

But in most DSLRs it is difficult to focus on objects because the LCD screen is small in size, which shows that everything is in focus, but problem happens when you work on video and find out the object was not properly in focus so that can be eliminated with iPad mini.

That's why you use the viewfinder and/or autofocus ;)

 

Either way for the money you're throwing at both an ipad and this, the quality of video you could get from a DSLR of the same price would be so much higher. Besides the option of editing the video on the device, (which why would any real film maker do?) it offers no unique selling point when compared with a proper camera.
