Part Recommendations

I am building a budget system for mostly Counter Strike GO and other games like GTA 5 for example and want some suggestions for parts.

CPU: Intel i3 8100

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300 Black

PSU: FSP HEXA 500W 80+

Motherboard: (Not sure what to go with want it to have at least 1 m.2 slot for upgrading to m.2 drive later and be a ATX or at least a mATX) M.2 isn't a NEED if it increases the price I want to build this as cheap as possible.

GPU: RX 570 4GB  or GTX 1050ti 4GB (not sure which to go with)

RAM: (Not sure for this one looking at some HyperX 2666mhz 16gb 2x8gb sticks)

Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks.

Motherboard: $100-150 NZD

GPU: $240 NZD Max

RAM: $100-120 NZD

I am also fine going used as well as our PC part scene in New Zealand is pretty honest and has decent people.

How are you affording all these parts with 500?

What's your overall budget? Just the cpu, motherboard and memory could easily overpass that number.

If I go by the max I want to spend per part my max is $510 to buy GPU RAM and a Motherboard.

I only need to buy GPU, Motherboard and RAM. I have the other parts.

to fit the budget you have to go with a pretty crappy motherboard

You could spend a little extra for this

https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/product/qnm323/asus-prime-b365m-a-micro-atx-lga1151-motherboard-prime-b365m-a

more features and better VRM so you can actually turbo on higher core count CPUs

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Thanks for your reply, I am going to go with the B365M that looks like a much better board for only a little bit more.

I have also found a used RX 570 for $130 NZD so that will free up some of the budget.
