CPU temp jumping up and down

So, my temp has been fluctuating  from 34-35-37-39-40 then 33-41-42-45-47-49 and so on. Maybe I'm just stressed because it's my first water cooled pc or just over thinking. My gpu is fine 30-29-30-29. But this is all basic stuff like google chrome open, and my temp reader. I'll put out all the specs if I need to. But I just wanna know if there is a just some easy fix, or if its more complicated then it really is.

You need to put more information into your post if you want any actual help.

Your CPU will fluctuate five to ten degrees even as it idles, what really matters is how it handles stress. Also, there are different tolerances for different brands so do you have Intel or AMD? It might be best to put your specs out there so we can have a better idea. But generally speaking, those temps are nothing to be concerned about. Try running a stress test and see what your numbers are, that'll be your best test on how efficient your cooling set up is.

Pretty normal, with just chrome and HWINFO64 open my 2700X bounces between 35-50c, and I'm running dual 360 rads.

Run a quick stress test and watch your temps, theyll go high but make sure they are in respectable limits. Then kill the stress test, if the temps drop back to normal within a second or two, everything is fine.

If the temps get too high, or the temps dont drop fast after killing the stress test. You may need to think about a different cooler or re-applying thermal paste or re-seating the cooler
