Need better cooling... For an HP

I want my grandma's HP to run ice cold and silent. I need a tower heatsink that will work with it though. It's an FM1 socket (old, but not too slow), and I can put a heatsink in it that is up to 16CM, I believe. And it needs to be able to handle 150 watts of pure processing power without breaking a sweat. And the fan HAS to be 4-pin, otherwise all of the fans will spin at 100% (don't know why). I was thinking about an EVO, but I'm not sure if it will fit (both in the socket and in the 16CM it has in the case, and being able to clear pretty much normal height memory ~1.5CM away).

HP... not even once. It's by far the worst (apart from their business line). The brand that needs the most repairs, overheats all the time, and has horrible build quality.

Her's actually isn't that bad. Just I don't like it hitting 66C.

66 C isn't even bad unless those are idle temperatures. There is no need to buy an aftermarket cooler in that case (unless noise is that important to her)

80c still isn't nowhere near dangerous temperatures. Many laptops hit over 90 when on load... I think you're worrying a bit too much.

low profile fans from noctua and others are about as good as the intel stock coolers temp wise... not recommended at all. Perhaps you could liquid cool an HP computer lol.

If you can find a 92mm AIO for less than $40 USD, be my guest. Have any ideas? It would to clear the RAM though (which the EVO would).

I was joking AIO coolers are usually a lot noisier than air coolers, especially at that type of size...
