Will my new 1660Ti work with my setup?

Question:
I am getting a new 1660Ti from Black Friday Sales, and I currently have a 1050ti and my set up is like this.

 

Monitor: Oldish Acer: Ports: DVI-D in & VGA in.

TV: 40inch for YouTube: Uses HDMI.

 

My Monitor is VGA to HDMI (Plugged into my GPU)

TV is HDMI to DVI (Plugged into my GPU)

 

I have been told, that my Monitor might be to old to communicate with the new 1660 by another forum member. 

 

What I was suggested to try is.

TV: Hdmi to Display Port. Like this

Monitor: DVI to HDMI (Already have this cord)

Yes you can.

You can find all the kind of adapters you need in the market

Yup, that GPU doesn't have analog output (VGA & DVI-A) so you need to use digital-to-digital adapters, AFAIK they're all passive so it's just a cable with two different plugs, there shouldn't be any problems.

I would expect a 1660ti to have at least 1 HDMI port so u can do hdmi to hdmi for the TV.

 

As for the older monitor u an use a DVI-D to HDMI cable.

I forgot to say. 
the 1660Ti has 

1 HDMI & 3 Display ports. 
So I can’t use 2 HDMIs

 

So I think my only bet is the 

HDMI to Display Port for the TV

&

DVI to HDMI because I already have that cord.
