Intel XTU Setup Fail.

Ok, so i was trying undervolt my cpu using the intel xtu. When i first install intel xtu, it works perfectly fine.

But a few days later, i for some reason tried to reinstall it, and then the setup failed to install.

 

Here's the log file. I found out some errors including 0x80070645 and 0x81f40001. 

 

From there on, i don't know what to do. So i uninstalled it, and use throttlestop to do the undervolting.  

I've tried to run the setup, but it just won't run (fails again). Then i decided not to install xtu again.

Is it ok to leave the error like that? or is it a necessary error to fix? 

I'm using the Acer Predator Triton 500 (PT515-51) with i7-8750h and rtx 2060. 

I would appreciate any answers and help. I'm also a newb to this site.

Did you try deinstalling before reinstalling?

yes, i'm reinstalling it because i'm trying to get the newer version of the software. I uninstall the intel xtu, download the setup, run the setup, and the setup failed.

Good knews, i just resetted my laptop, and i can run Intel XTU again. I can't find any other way to fix the error, so i guess this is the only way, huh?
