Looking for advice on first build.

rocket_

This is my first post here and I was wondering if any one could give me some advice on my build so far. (first time so I'm very new to this)

I have a budget of 1000 USD( about 1350 AUD) and am looking to play on a 144hz monitor at 1080p.

I am not sure what the deal is with the b450 motherboards and the 3rd gen ryzen processors? ( Is it difficult to install the BIOS update?)

thanks

Hello,

I've made some changes. Kinda the same motherboard but Ryzen 3rd gen ready, better rams for less, faster SSD, a better PSU for less.

Ryzen 3600x has better stock cooler and 5% better perfgormance, with only 5bucks more today!

Msi b450 Tomahawk Max has already bios for third gen ryzen support so you do not have to update the bios yourself.

This ram has 3600mhz speed and can go even as low as 15cl.

Pretty basic 1tb m2.ssd. Has good performance when doing light tasks, but in heavy task this ssd stutters.

Cheapest 1t hdd i found.

This strix card is very good , has rgb and stays cool.

This h510 has glass windows and the price is not that high.

650w psu is enough

QUOTE ME  FOR ANSWER.

Hum not really (at least for the 5700XT) but it's better than the 1660S. Especially with the PowerColor Red Devil being cheaper and better.

Plus OP is from Australia.

unfortunately this build costs 2000 aud which is to much for me

(should have mentioned my price point in AUD in my first post)
