What cpu, motherboard, ram, and case are you using?

Budget? Are there any other features you're looking for besides an easy installation?

Looking to build a new pc, I used a 212 evo for my current pc and absolutely hated how hard it was to install. What is a good air cooler that is really easy to install?

i find that larger coolers that require long screw drivers to be easiest to install

heck when installing my ID cooling SE 207, the mounting bracket attachment took longer than the screwing of the cooler tower itself.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

$100 or less, but i'd prefer $50 or less if thats an option as 212 is like $30. i just want an ok performance like 212 evo. i use i5-4690k so the new cpu will be another intel cpu thats on the high end. i use fractal design define r4. i dunno what ram i'd get

Beats me. Never used one. They looks more finicky than hard to install.

If you're just aiming for a cheap cooler similar to the Hyper 212 Evo, the Gammaxx 400 is hard to go wrong with. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hJFPxr/deepcool-cpu-cooler-gammaxx400

Here's the install:

The NH-U12A and NH-U12S are both very easy to install.

From my personal experience and the accounts of others, the Hyper 212 Evo installation gets easier after the first few times. I don't think it's particularly difficult to install.
