where is the gta V savegame located?

Sooo i have corrupted my gta V installation. i am about to reinstall it but where are the savegames located? i don't want to lose all my progress because i got quite far

Should just be in your documents folder in a subset of folders. The main one should be named Rockstar, or something related.

 

EDIT: Here's the file path: C:\Users\USER\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V

 

In the GTA V folder there is an XML file that contains your settings. Like screen resolution and such. There's also some funkily named folders which contain the save game data. I'd just grab the entire GTA V folder.
