Hey guys so, I have delid my 6700k, and temps are pretty good, at the moment. The oc is 4.8 @ 1.32v before delid I can boot 5ghz @ 1.5, with xmp on and no timing changed

My question is. I want to have my 6700k stable @ 5ghz I know it might not be possible but I want to give it a proper go, what can I do to help?

I'm guessing change the ram timings I have no idea to what or how to calculate it, maybe turn off xmp? What else??

Ill post system specs in a sec

4.8 may be a proper go for that chip.  I got a 4770k I can’t get above 4.0 stable. Sometimes you win the silicon lottery, sometimes you don’t.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Well at 1,5V i do hope it has custom water cooling loop. :)
The cooler you can keep it the higher your chances are.
And yes like @Bombastinator said, its also very much up to the silicone lottery.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Well with xmp enabled and not changing the timings, I can boot to windows and use it at 5ghz just but stable enough for a bench so, I just want to give it the best chance of being stable as possible, I know how to oc the cpu etc but not really touched the timings or the blk? I think its called,  and it's got a custom loop :)

I did get 4.9 stable without changing timing etc. That was a while ago though lol
