Title says it all. I want to put a second graphics card in my system and run a second gaming PC virtually off of one tower. 3900X is the CPU. Is it possible? Is it viable?

PC: Intel 10700K, Asus Z490-E Strix, G.Skill Trident Z @ 3200mhz C14, Thermaltake View 71, Custom Water Cooling (EKWB Quantum, 2x 360mm SR1 Radiators, 6 Noctua NF-A12), EVGA GTX1080 ti HydroCopper, Intel 6651TB, Intel 600p 480GB, Windows 10 Pro

How much patience do you have?

With enough, you can overcomplicate anything.

Got it. Wanted a second PC to box in MMOs. Separate tower it is.

the amount of overheard required to run 2 VMs will give you a very mediocre experience on both machines

That really depends on what you're using as a hypervisor. Some only reduce performance by 1%~3% and can be gamed on quite comfortably but that's not even the main issue. I'm not certain the mainstream AM4 platform supports enabling IOMMU groups for PCI_e device pass-though. Without that this isn't even possible with his hardware.
