Can't Manual overclock asus prime x470-pro

Hi.

 

i want to overklock my DRAM clock and timing, but i can't pick a manual option on ai tuner in eufi. i have a 2700x that is overclocked in ai suite. but it cant access any overclocking in bios more than auto or D.O.C.P. what i can understand from my Manual. it should be possible. is it locked on this motherbord or is it any solution to my problem?.

Have you used any OC software such as Ryzen Master? If you have, make sure you clear CMOS to wipe those settings first

This is definatly not locked on this board as I have the same board and cpu as you both are manually OC'd.

The best way to OC on this board is to set you DOCP for memory then change your memory frequency and timings from there. There is no actual manual setting on this board.

I have cleard CMOS And istill don’t find it.

But if i pick DOCP the timing are grey so i cant access them. Same whit the CPU even of i stick that to manual i cant still access it

He is wanting to Manually OC and on this boards bios there is no option for manual for Memory or CPU, if you look at my Pics in my post above its kind of misinterpreted.

Mine are grey as well believe me they will change. Check my pics posted above.

I am using the same BIOS version on my board. When I turn DOCP on and then go into DRAM Timing Control it allows me to just enter in the timing. 

 

It looks a bit grayed out but when I enter a number it changes it.

Also just a heads up if you are capable of Getting past 4.2Ghz on the CPU all core you have to stay below 1.45v the VRM cannot handle anymore current past that point, and unless your using EK Mono Block for this board its going to over heat, the heatsinks on this board are trash.
