Is it in AHCI, and not IDE?

EDIT: And is it Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate) or Windows 8?

ill second that

also, have you tried cleaning the registry to make loading processes more efficient?

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

On an SSD that shouldn't make much of a difference (since it doesn't have to literally find the data like a hard drive).

I merged the 2 topic,

Also, did you include the BIOS post in your boot time?

Or is it just windows?

And you can also try out soluto it will tell you which programs take how long to start during boot.

You can also delay the start-up of certain programs.

Its in AHCI and it's windows 7 ultimate

Windows 7 Ultimate should load right around 20 seconds, tops, on an SSD. What is the rest of the hardware?

Here is what I would do:

1. Download Ccleaner and run the registry cleaner, only remove the keys you know will not effect Windows critical files and mess things up, also remember to make a backup.

2. Check your Drivers, update your drivers and your BIOS to the latest version, using your motherboard website please.

3. Run a virus scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and make sure you have good antivirus software: Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Avast, AVG, Comodo or Eset

4. If all else fails try Update your SSD firmware NOTE: Make a backup first as all your data could be erased.

Windows 7 Ultimate should load right around 20 seconds, tops, on an SSD. What is the rest of the hardware?

So it's kind of normal for it to be that "slow"? Intel i7 4770k, Gtx 770, Asus z87-pro, corsair GS 800w, Corsair LP 1600mhz

I've been thinking about putting Windows 8 on it, would that speed things up?

download ccleaner and use it to clean the registry.

Will do!

So I can put anything here?
