You wont be able to get a 100% accurate representation of how your build looks until it's built (or if you're using very generic parts)

A suggestion would be to try browsing PCPartPicker.com. Choose your case, then scroll down to "See all builds" and look for builds that are using similar core parts like CPU cooler (if it's not stock) and GPU cooler.

the case is in hand and was bought off amazon warehouse that's why im asking if there is a way for me to just hook up the powersupply to see if the preinstalled LEDs and junk work without having to build the whole pc, took your suggestion took a look on pcpartpicker and it basically shows nothing.  This is not a personal build. im selling this.

so you have a case but no parts?  There was a “the” power supply.  Separate LED controllers are made that run off the PSU.  They cost money though, which I suspect is going to be a non starter.

so you want to macguyver some way to test the light strings for functionality?  That kind of defeats the purpose of not spending any time on it either.  It’s likely going to be less labor to just install the motherboard and use the built in RGB controller (assuming it’s got one)

money or time.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
