My Acer Monitor is... messed up?

Hi there,

 

I've got an Acer XB270HU. It is something like 4 years old now.

 

For some reason, the screen is messing up rather badly on the left half. Very odd

ah that's a good point. I put my PC back together and may have used my PC's power cable on the monitor

Try different video cable I meant. Power cable isn’t too likely to be a problem, but I suppose it’s better to eliminate all possibilities
