Posted November 11, 2019 From their product page: Quote Amazon.com Return Policy:You may return any new computer purchased from Amazon.com that is "dead on arrival," arrives in damaged condition, or is still in unopened boxes, for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Amazon.com reserves the right to test "dead on arrival" returns and impose a customer fee equal to 15 percent of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product. Any returned computer that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering will result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product. Amazon.com will not accept returns of any desktop or notebook computer more than 30 days after you receive the shipment. New, used, and refurbished products purchased from Marketplace vendors are subject to the returns policy of the individual vendor. Manufacturer’s warranty can be requested from customer service. Click here to make a request to customer service. TL;DR: [Amazon] will help you for 30 days, after that; contact AMD. AMD probably has between 1 and 3 years of warranty for your products. They have 3 years where I live, but it might be different from where you are located at. Even though Amazon only has a 30-day return policy, I would still contact Amazon if you have an issue with your CPU. Posted November 12, 2019 This will also depend on where in the world you are. in the UK for instance, as a result of EU law, a minimum 2 year warranty would be applicable and if you buy from Amazon.co.uk they are the seller and responsible for honouring the warranty over anything that may be offered by the manufacturer itself. The manufacturers warranty may offer better cover than the statutory one but cannot be worse (regardless of what some try to pull). If the OP is in an EU country the situation should be similar to that in the UK but as interpreted by local law. Can’t really comment on elsewhere in the world. You should check consumer rights legislation in your country to find out what applies where you are - local law can supersede whatever Amazon writes in their T&Cs, despite what they might think they aren’t actually above the law. Posted November 13, 2019 In specific terms of the item you're asking about, your warranty is through AMD, and you have one because they go 3 years from date of launch. Just like Intel. You don't need to provide any paperwork or anything. The only way you get screwed is if you buy the chip say 2 years after launch, then without paperwork you only have a 1 year warranty.
