Hello Community,

i hope you could help me with a problem.
I recently moved into a new flat and need to get LAN connection into my office.

The ISP plug is in the halway 7m across from the office.
The powerlines in the house are pretty old so i dont know if a reliable connection would work here.
Drilling a hole through a Wall for a LAN cable would be the last of my considered Options as all walls are brick ones.

Thats why i thougt of a Wifi connection between my Fritzbox 7530 (from ISP) and some other central device in the Office.
Is there a possible solution (not overly expensive) that could work?

p.s. i would need 4 Ethernet Plugs in the Office

thanks in advance,
Knoppersd

Just do the basic: tape the cable to the floor

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Why not add a Wi-Fi card or USB-plug to the devices in your office and have each of them talk to the FritzBox's Wi-Fi directly?

Would like to do that but my existing nas hasn't got an option for WiFi and wouldn't have space in the hallway

And flat lan cable is not fitting under the door sadly :(

Look at the video I posted, that's your answer then :) Basically a second Wi-Fi router that serves as a bridge that you can then connect your wired devices to.
