Static shock killed my mouse.

I bought a steelseries sensei raw in November last year and was very happy with it but now I have a problem. I put my hand on the mouse and got an intense static shock. The light in the mouse died and the mouse stopped working. I restarted the computer and it still didn't work. I then tried it in two different computers and it still wouldn't work. The light doesn't come on and the mouse doesn't even try to install drivers. Is there anything I can do but contact steelseries and try to rma it?

No. wood floors in my house. Just sat down and got shocked and it died.

I once killed a mouse by clicking over 200,000 times in Cookie Clicker. Am I evil? >_>

(It wasn't a mega-OP mouse with fancy gadgets and stuff, just the red and black one that came with my iBuyPower PC, though, so don't worry too much.)
