This build was around 500 below budget. It will be a dream to game on and it has two of the best mining GPUs out there right now. I included some extra fans for both the case and the CPU heatsink.

the wd green drive you had was only 5400 rpm

the ram was 4 sticks, 2 would be better so he can upgrade to 32gb in the future if needed

Considering that any reputable motherboard manufacturer now has 1-click overclock utilities bundled in the software packages and you don't even have to even look at the BIOS to overclock, I'm confident my granny could overclock at this point.

 

Tuning an overclock to reach its full potential? Maybe not.

A simple, safe overclock that any chip can reach? Easy peasy.
