Looking for a halfway decent system

hi, I'm new here, in fact just created an account, and was hoping I could find a decent gaming/video editing desktop/laptop for relatively cheap. Amazon and newegg have some pretty good prebuilts, but cost an arm and a leg, plus a fortune. I currently have been playing linux games on my samsung chromebook 3(DONT RECOMMEND FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN SIMPLE ITCH.IO GAMES) since my ASUS m2n sli deluxe mobo borked
