They have the scythe listed as 154 but on the site it’s 154.5

Would .5mm really not fit?

it will possibly touch the sidepanel

Well, you can try. If its a snug fit and you think it's fine then go with it.

Is that bad?

for the airflow?

probably not

but fans vibrate, and when they touch your sidepanel, that one is most likely going to vibrate too

besides that it would look a little ghetto having that large cooler making full contact with your acrylic window, and it would most likely scratch it.

your best bet would be to contact Rosewill and ask them how tight of a fit it would be

go for it if you want to, it might as well fit in somehow.

i personally wouldn't as the inside would look awfully crammed

but you do you mate

If you are really unsure of whether a tower-based air cooler will fit, you could go with either a low-profile air cooler like the Cryorig C7, or could go with watercooling. I'm assuming you have a lower-end Ryzen chip since the higher-end chips ship with Wraith coolers which are comparable to a Hyper 212 EVO, so if you went watercooling, you could do with a 120/140mm radiator, which you could attach to wherever your rear fan currently sits.

Sorry, but I did check. I knew I should have looked into this more but I misread the details. 140mm was the fan. I admit I was in the wrong.

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

What ram are you using?

The case fits taller coolers than the specifications indicate. Here are some examples of the Hyper 212 Evo at 158mm fitting just fine: https://pcpartpicker.com/builds/by_part/mDvZxr#h=8
