WOW, it actually looks way better with RTX, but u know half the frames, and half better the look is. DOnt know how well that game is optimised.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

It does look good. Though slamming ReShade on most games totally change the depth if you use Adaptive Sharpen, Adaptive Light, HDR, Bloom and SSAO. I'm still amazed how much it changes Borderlands 2. When you turn it on it feels like you're playing a different game. And game itself already supports SSAO, but this extra filter totally changes the depth.

Damn, I need to try Half-Life 2 Source (or Black Mesa) and Half-Life 2 with it again.

TF2 with RTX when?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

the game runs like shit already, we don't need another factor to make it run worse

then again tf2 could also really use post-processing aa if someone could make that happen

System Shock 2 with RTX would be mad tho. It has just the right atmosphere to benefit from it on an insane level. I can just imagine how already amazing lighting would look like if it was physically accurate. And how shadows would play in with the creepy atmosphere. That would probably be one key game for which I'd be willing to buy a RTX graphic card just to experience it again. Was hoping for Half-Life:Source to be that, but Valve made no effort to port t like Black Mesa did.

I don't think ReShade will work since it's DX6 or DX7 era engine, but maybe newer version on GOG is running some newer API...

For what it's worth, Half-Life: Source seems like it was made more to show off how porting from Goldsrc to Source could be easy rather than as a complete remake of Half-Life like what Black Mesa is.

Hell, that's almost literally what Counter-Strike: Source is.
