Ryzen 3200g showing 100% gpu usage on the desktop

Just put together a pc for my mom. She plays facebook games only. She said the computer has been a little slow here and there. When I first set up computer I noticed the gpu usage is 100% always, even at the desktop doing nothing. There is no graphics card, only using Radeon graphics from the Ryzen. Any thoughts on why the gpu usage is so high? Thanx

Specs:

Ryzen 3 3200g

Asus Prime B450M-A/CSM Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance LPX Ram C16 8GB 3000mhz(2x4gb dual channel)

Seagate Barracuda 2tb hard drive 7200rpm

EVGA 500w 80+ gold power supply

You checked task manager to see what is using the cpu so much ?

perhaps run malwarebytes too, to be on the safe side

The cpu usage is not high, its just the gpu usage. Plus this happen as soon as i installed windows so it cant be any type of virus. Specifically the gpu core is at its max of 200mhz even at idle..no programs running

open task manager rightclick status and check mark the gpu. so it shows what's using the gpu so much. and then tell us :)

Ok so on task manager its only showing a few percent usage on the gpu. But on hardware monitor the gpu core clock is maxed out. Seems weird but im not familiar with apu's, i usually run systems with dedicated graphics cards. Is it normal for the gpu core clock to be maxed out with only windows running? I guess it could because the core clock is so low? Only 200mhz. My system runs 135mhz-250mhz at idle with a max of 1215mhz

hardware monitor sometimes gives bad info. just like task manager. but i expect task manager to be right here. i dont have much experience with intergrated gpu's to know how much they run at simply desktop. and non games though.

Use CTRL+SHIFT+O do open radeon overlay, might display something different.

Maximum GPU clock is usually not an indicator of how the iGPU is loaded, the RX 580 does the same thing with light GPU load, FULL trottle on Clockspeed, 50% on GPU load. There is also settings that can down clock the GPU in radeon settings when the load is not at max but i don't recommend doing it.

Edit: i would look at CPU not the iGPU if the PC get slow, maybe windows updates too.

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...
