Opinions and reviews of XFX 5XX cards especialy 580 8gb BLACK OC+

Hi i am in a procces of long time comming PC upgrading i got C2D E8400, geforce 750 ti (before gtx 460 gibabyte <= it burn; before that EVGA 8800GTX artifacts after 5 years of use) with 4gb of 800mHz ram... :D I can run game titles to around 2013. So i got like 60 games that i can easly play to catch up on my entertainment... thats why i am looking for PC that can Run 2019 titles with 1080 ultra details + 2020 titles high details. I have to add that i am from Poland and we like the rest of the world have to pay big "customs" fee (if i am translating that word correctly). So most components are +15% to +33%(gpu's) more expensive then in US. So it not that easy to just add XX bucks and have something better. After long time i chose

Ryzen 5 2600 -148$

Asus Prime a320m-k (i do not overclock and i can live with only 2 ram slots and i like sata port position on this motherboard) -56$

Ballistix Ballistix Sport LT, DDR4, 2x4 GB,2666MHz -45$

and XFX radeon rx580 Black OC+ 8gb version at really low price - 210$

That is very fishy becouse Aorus cost 230$, Saphire Nitro+ cost 242$ (but that card is very big amd have wierd PSU connection 8pin+6pin) and MSI armor cost 249$. Of course i exchange the currencies for your convenience. My question is: what is wrong with XFX? Did they screw that model... are theirs fan way louder then the competition or does their GPU have short lifespan.... I had in the past only Nvidia card (always gibabyte and EVGA) i am used to gpu life to be around 4-5. Can i expect the same from from XFX. Any one from you guys got this gpu and can share your expirance with me. Do i need to add 39$ and buy MSI? To put things in perspective :D i earn 31,25$ a day.

That's actually pretty average pricing for the RX 580, ($180 USD here) and the XFX version is actually quite good. (I actually have that same GPU in my brother's PC, and it's a very solid card) The reason other brands are more expensive is that you're either paying for RGB or for the name on the sticker, that's all.

Thx for fast response. Fallow up questions. How old is your brother gpu? More then a year?

I have the previous generation of the xfx card. I personally use the XFX RX 480 RS 4 GB version. I have had it for basically 2 years now with zero issues. It's pretty quiet when gaming hard and stays pretty cool as well. It's overclocking abilities are ok but nothing ng to write home about.

About a year now. No issues since I set it up for him. Mild overclock above it's defaults too.

I stumble on something funny just before buying...This is the card i want to buy ====> "XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS BLACK OC+, 8GB GDDR5 (256 Bit) (RX-580P8DBD6)"

I wanted to check info on it on the manufactured site so i google it and...

https://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/products/amd-radeon-rx-500-series/rx-580-gts-8gb-dd-rx-580p8dbd6

This product no longer exist?

when i search the 580 on this website https://www.xfxforce.com/gpu/amd-radeon-rx-500 still no RX-580P8DBD6

Something is really wrong. I think i will go with the safe choise of Nitro+. But thx BTFbullseye and Zusafek for the help. It is just to risky when manufacturer don't have info on the card on the website. This can be some scam.

Thx i ended up buying XFX... Works fine. It's laud when gaming (I have opened case all the time) but it is nothing new when it comes to GPUs (i am pretty sure that only 550,560 are quiet) 570 and 580 are just build this way(and i am not paying 40$ more to reduce it from 36db to 34db). For people that will read this in the future: DO NOT OVERPAY for you motherboard a320 series is perfect just watch where are sata ports so the GPU dont block it.

A320 is sufficient for 1st and 2nd gen Ryzen, yes... It absolutely will not run 3rd gen though. While it is a good price, it's only good if you don't plan on upgrading your CPU past 2nd gen.
