Sorry for the non-Answer, but just get rid of it.

You only need the drivers- shadowplay weighs system resources down, and if you're the one person that actually uses GE as a game launcher I'd be very surprised

@Slottr     Everything is relative and depend on the computer you have.

Of course if i have a crap one, without any word i would never put it.

But in a high end PC, there is like zero difference!!!

It's still one of the best gaming recording tools there is, Ansel and all the screen filters, sharpening and tools alike also depends on GE, which is all things you're also "buying" when you get a nVidia video card, so I respectfully disagree with your view to dump it altogether if you find use in any of it.

Now regarding OP's issue I believe the most straight forwards way here would be the good and old DDU in safe mode before trying to reinstall the drivers and make sure you're not getting those nasty OEM DCH drivers instead of the standard ones.

Same here, most likely a server issue on their part, so it should be fixed fairly soon I reckon.

OEM DCH

You mean those that come bundled with purchase? Fuck no. I've never installed them since Day1. I'll reinstall the graphics driver. Is DDU in safe mode necessary af or should I proceed rn?

It is highly advised that you download the whole driver before hand directly from nVidia, then once you have it you do the DDU in safe mode and after you reboot do so without being connected to the internet so Windows Update doesn't get in the way trying to push w/e driver it has.

Then it's really just install the driver you already had downloaded and only enable internet afterwards.

If you do all these steps it should work.

Oh yeah. @Slottr made a lame blame on GE. I mean although I prefer XBOX Game Bar Recording over Ansel because it is more lightweight and convenient to use than the latter and I don't stream as well.

But like @Mateyyy said it could very possibly be a server issue so I am more inclined to wait than performing a fresh reinstall of drivers. I am not in any critical issue related to GE as I got other stuff to do rn.

Yup. This is appears to be a bug at the moment with GE. Show an error when trying to log in.
