Windows pushing 1903 on me. Bug reports anyone?

_Grid21

So I pushed off updating my windows to build version 1903 because I knew there might be bugs in this current build. The reason I haven't updated was because my friend who is running Windows 10 1903 got this error and posted about it in my Discord Server he said. Since I am on Nvidia Driver 436.48 should I just updated my drivers by using DDU and updating my RealTek drivers then? And with this, has there been any other bugs I should be aware of?

PLEASE NOTE: This quote was from my friend in my Discord server.

Ok just got done looking at my Type-C MUTT logs, apparently Nvidia doesn't like Windows 10 1901 Build ver 18362.418 with their previous version pre-version 436.48. If you are on a Nvidia driver before version 436.48 make sure you update to this version. According to my logs that I am getting through a Display Port to USB type-C MUTT the error is coming from drivers. As well as any Drivers from RELTEK HD audio drivers. Please update your RELTEK HD Audio drivers and Nvidia Drivers, AMD (not 100% sure as I don't have an AMD card) might not be affected.

What about your Nvidia drivers? What was the condition of that area? Any other bugs with Windows 10 1903?

I don't remember honestly. Just reinstall if needed. I will recommend using DDU in safe mode

The early September security updates caused some bugs with audio drivers, may have been that. They were fixed in a later September update

Thanks guys. I am doing an inplace upgrade rather than using windows updates. And this one laptop I am using is also been dual-booted so hopefully it'll still be ok. If not I can restore the clone I have from Macrium Reflect.

Should I update my video driver before or after I do the in-place upgrade?

My workstation has a 90 day deferral policy on upgrades.  It just upgraded to 1903 from 1809 yesterday.  I have not seen any issues at all with video, audio, or printing.  Some applications seem to load much faster with 1903.

Workstation PC Specs: CPU - i7 8700K; MoBo - ASUS TUF Z390; RAM - 32GB Crucial; GPU - Gigabyte RTX 1660 Super; PSU - SeaSonic Focus GX 650; Storage - 500GB Samsung EVO, 3x2TB WD HDD;  Case - Fractal Designs R6; OS - Win10
