It’s a Dell Inspiron Laptop.  Pentium CPU.  For a long time now, whatever this program is (maybe telementery) opens many windows of itself shortly after booting into the Windows GUI.  I haven’t found any online answers for this.  Any help?

Also, here’s a video of the action for whoever can see it.

Try Dism++ or Win10Tweaker to turn this task off in autostart.

Both programs can be found via googling or going to GDrive folder linked under my post (Purify your Win 10).

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

Check task manager - you should be able to see if it's there.. Ctrl+shift+esc - In task manager you can also press on the start tab and see what programs start automatically. If the program dosen't appear, check services and then you can disable it in there.

I don’t know the program name.  In fact, I’m not sure the program even has a name.  When I hover over the icon for the program on the taskbar, the window preview just shows a blank preview but no name for the program.  In the Startup tab in Task Manager, there is a program literally called “Program” that is used every startup, but trying to disable it brings up a Window “are you sure you want to disable this?  This will shut down your PC”.  This is at least according to the guy who owns this laptop.

Since it’s not my PC, I don’t think I can do this because the person this PC belongs to probably will not approve of this (he doesn’t even feel comfortable with me booting into the BIOS config, so yeah).

Then tell him "good luck" and walk away.

If he's paying, then explain that you can't guaranty anything if you're not given access to the PC ... but this issue isn't related to the BIOS, so either way, you can't help him if he doesn't let you help.

Open Task Manager ;

on the Process tab, right click the un-named software and select "Open file location"

That will open the folder where it is and select the executable file. Go from there.

Using the advice from you above (thanks guys), I found the application.

Going to Task Manager, I found that Intel Security Assist was everywhere.

Opening the drop down menu told a whole new story.

Notice anything familiar?

The guy who own’s this computer is disabling the process now.  Should I uninstall it or not?

@MrFixitBlankFace from the task manager, he can go to the "Startup" tab and disable it from there. It's not a critical application and isn't really needed, so it's also safe to uninstall.
