HELP This memory conundrum is giving me a head ache

Hey Guys

So here goes. I haven't built a PC in over 10 years. I have finally decided what I want for the most part but selecting RAM is turning out to be a huge headache. Any Ideas?

Going with the Asrock x570 Aqua paired with a AMD Ryzen 7 3800X (I know its over priced and not very budget friendly)

The problem is selecting the RAM. with 4 slots available I need to get either 2 X 32GB or 4 X 16GB (still simple)

ideal memory speed for ryzen is 3600 (ok)

but 3200 would be better if I can get it at lower latency timings (ok...)

works best with Samsung B-Die (sigh)

ASROCK QVL has nothing that matches the above combination. (headache)

So what would you guys recommend in terms of memory. I would prefer 2 X 32GB for a total of 64 GB running at 3733 MHZ with CAS at 14 on a Samsung B Die ( if that exists)

If it doesn't can I get 4133 RAM and underclock it to 3733 and use that to get lower CAS Latency?

Again its been over 10 years since I build a computer and I wanna get this right so I don't go crazy.

Any constructive and helpful ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Timings and memory die manufacturer are very small details. The only reason you would want to go through this big of a headache is if you wan to optimize absolutely EVERYTHING in the system.

I'd recommend just finding some RAM that is on the ASRock QVL that is either 2 X 32GB or 4 X 16GB with 3600MHz.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

I do want to optimize everything. And the stupid QVL has no 3600 memory support what so ever. Hence the even bigger headache...
