Cooler Master RS-600-ACAB-M2 PSU

DiamondFX
Go to solution Solved by Keyboard Basher,

After checking Cooler Masters list of Haswell supported PSU's, the Elite Power200 (The one in your post), it is "Not Haswell Ready". But that's because it doesn't support the C6/C7 CPU states. The only drawback of not using a Haswell Ready PSU is that you would only save 2 - 3 Watts instead of 5 Watts when the CPU is idle. Not a huge drawback. Have your friend disable the C6/C7 power saving modes in his BIOS.

My friend has the following PSU with i5-4670. I told him that this PSU might cause some issues to the system but I am not sure if this PSU is compatible with Haswell cpus. Does anyone know? Here is the picture:

Here is the Haswell compatibility list but I couldn't find this PSU listed?:

Thank you so much for the answer I did not know that. So it wouldn't cause any problems. I don't think he has changed anything in the bios. Thanks again.

Thanks for noting that you guys use this. :D I let our product managers know that we should update the list (or make an official table somewhere on our site), considering we have some new V series PSUs out now too!
