I am planning to build a water cooled rig with a copper radiator. The only block I could find for my gpu was nickel so I just decided to go with that. I've read some about not mixing metals and that silver may be the main contributor in galvanic corrosion. I've noticed that all of the radiators I have seen are copper. Would everything be ok if I bought this water cooling loop, a nickel cpu block, a nickel gpu block for the msi gtx 1080 Ti Gaming X, and any 360mm copper radiator with the fluid included in the kit?

Copper + Aluminum is the big one everyone knows about.

I've read about Nickel + Silver causing issues.

Have not heard about Copper + Nickel yet. If it concerns you you can always add a little anti-corrosion agent to the loop.

Do not buy nothing from thermaltake for water cooling.Their cpu block cools the worse,There rads are low end and their coolant is trash. The gpu block is copper with nickel plating over for looks,Copper and nickel will play fine together its Aluminum thats the problem metal. If you want a good rad go hardware labs a good cpu block anything from heatkiller. And coolant mayhems or ek.

Sounds like a normal look. Most of my stuff is Nickel plated and I don’t have issues.
